The main challenge in the journey of learning and memorizing the Qur'an is not simply acquiring new verses, but rather consolidating what has already been memorized over time. The similarity and interconnectedness of many of the verses often leads to forgetting what has been previously memorized when new verses are learned. To overcome these obstacles, strict and intensive daily revision is necessary. However, many individuals give up on this journey due to the accumulation of similarities, stumbling blocks, confusion in choosing what to review, or a loss of motivation and determination.

Makeen offers an effective and practical solution to the aforementioned difficulties. When using the application, you are encouraged to not only read verses repeatedly during review and memorization, but also try to recall each word and verify your accuracy by touching the word on the screen. This approach offers numerous benefits:

<ul>
 <li>The act of recalling verses stimulates your mind and keeps you motivated during long study sessions. You will find yourself engrossed in using the application without noticing the passage of time. Through this process, you will become addicted to the application while reaping great rewards.</li>
 <li>Instead of relying on repetitive reading, attempting to remember words enhances the brain's ability to retain information by strengthening the neurotransmitters associated with memory. This helps cement the verses in your long-term memory.</li>

If your goal is to memorize a particular chapter, such as Surat Al-Baqarah, Makeen allows you to select it for daily review. The application will then prioritize testing you on previously learned verses, with a focused emphasis on those that need further revision. Unlike traditional methods, where all revision verses are reviewed equally, Makeen adjusts the frequency at which you encounter each verse based on your level of memorization. Some verses may appear multiple times a day, while others may only be reviewed once a week. Upon completing the required daily revisions, Makeen provides you with new verses to learn and memorize. This intelligent scheduling algorithm offers the following advantages:

When memorizing the Qur'an using conventional methods, your mind often associates what is memorized with visual cues such as page boundaries. This may initially aid the memorization process, but it proves detrimental in the long run as visual factors tend to fade from memory. Makeen intentionally minimizes the reliance on visual cues, thereby training your mind to focus solely on the meanings and interconnectedness of the verses - an approach that has proven effective over time.

In addition, Makeen's word-by-word display feature significantly aids in identifying mistakes. It alerts you to precise locations where errors occur, such as confusing words like "عليك" and "إليك", "أتيناهم" and "آتيناهم".
